Inspiration and Music Analysis

When talking about the band's main inspiration it can be said that they owns it to the alternative band Red Hot Chili Peppers which served as ignition to Psychedelic Cosmic Ride's potential.The members of Psychedelic Cosmic Ride do not have a composing process, their inspiration is spontaneous, sometimes the inspiration can come up to their minds and suddenly they start playing a new melody for a new song. They compose their songs as a band, which means that all of them have an active participation in the decisions related to their new creations. Those changes on the tempo are one of the main characteristics of  Psychedelic Cosmic Ride, those changes are the result of the combination of different rhythms in their songs like punk, reggae and rock.

About the instruments the band plays, there can be found a bass, an electronic guitar, drums, a piano and accompanying these instruments there can de found the singers of the band. According to what Pablo Argote said in the interview the sound that highlights the most during their presentations is the bass' sound.

Through the analysis of this audio it can be heard that its structure is clear but hetero phonic, the bass, the drums and the singer all follow a different pitch. Although the band usually plays four instruments on their presentations in this audio there can only be heard 2 of them the bass and the drums plus the voice of the singer. This songs follows what Pablo Argote has said in the interview, is not danceable in the way where dance steps can be used but people can express their feelings through movements without coordination or any sense. The feelings transmitted through this audio can vary from person to person depending on how they feel or think at the moment, there is no objective way to define how this audio can impact on someone's mind, but at the end it achieves the objective to transmit emotions and make people feel them.
